DECK RESTORATION

We replaced the foundation and support structure for a crumbling deck. All the sonnotube supports had frost damage and the support posts were undersized for the deck they were supporting. 

The day we went to the client’s house we warned them not to use the deck again until we could get it repaired. We put the deck on a jack support system, removed the first floor support posts, installed a frost wall foundation, installed new carrying timbers, support posts and knee braces and removed the jack support system. We repeated the process for the second floor support structure as well. We also replaced the stairs and the hand rails according to code.
